The Observation Manager ensures that field observations are complete, relevant and that crucial information is available to the right people at the right time. The Observation Manager provides an intelligent worksheet to create valid and insightful inspections and assessments, ensuring that the data needed for C-TPAT, social compliance, intellectual property, or other trade and security compliance programs is systematically collected. The Observation Manager checks submitted information to pre-screen for errors, omissions, and inconsistent responses.

The Observation Manager then intelligently routes information to other elements of the GL suite of applications to ensure that relevant field information is used to help define shipment lifecycles and perform risk analysis. Suspect activity generates an immediate alert which can be linked to a task to perform a follow up inspection to further investigate out of compliance activities or anomalous behaviors.
